  • Gift Emporium reserves the right to reject any order without giving reasons. In the event of rejection, we will refund or cancel any payments received via the payment method used to place the order.
    The provider cannot be held responsible for security breaches occurring on the user’s electronic device (personal computer or other electronic device used to browse the website.)

  • These website Terms and Conditions govern the ordering, sale and delivery of products, and the use of the website.

  • If you fail to comply with your obligations under these Terms and Conditions, you breach this agreement.
  • These Terms and Conditions apply to the Consumer Protection Act, 68 of 2008.

We respect your privacy and will take all reasonable measures to protect it.

Product Pricing

  • Pricing is only confirmed on your order once you have processed your payment.
  • We reserve the right to amend or increase prices at our discretion.
  • We endeavour to offer you competitive prices on current products.

Order processing

  • Order processing will not begin until we receive a confirmed order and full payment.
  • We have tried to describe all products fairly and the dimensions and capacities given are approximate only.

Payment Options

  • All transactions on the Gift Emporium website will be processed in South African Rands (ZAR). We accept all major credit cards.
  • You must be the owner of the credit card being used to make payment.
  • We are committed to providing secure online payment facilities.
  • We also accept EFT (electronic funds transfer) payments.

Product Availability

  • Lead time is dependent on stock availability. Should we have stock available, orders will be dispatched within 1-6 working days. All products are subject to availability and may be withdrawn at any time, including after you have placed your order. If your order cannot be fulfilled we will notify you as soon as possible.
  • Should the product not be in stock we will advise you of the waiting period.

Delivery Policy

  • Gift Emporium will indicate the acceptance of your order by delivering the product to you, and only at that point will an agreement of sale between you and Gift Emporium come into effect.
  • We will deliver your gift anywhere in South Africa. All gifts are sent via a courier services and are packaged securely.
  • We cannot guarantee prompt delivery at a specific time on a certain date as we rely on a 3rd party.
  • If a delivery cannot be made, we will re-scheduled the delivery. An additional deliver fee will have to be paid before a 2nd attempt to delivery will be made.
  • Orders over R500 will be delivered for free to major cities only.

Refunds/ Exchanges/ Returns Policy/ Complaints

  • All complaints must be emailed to us within 24 hours of delivery and must include a picture of the unsatisfactory product to qualify for a refund.
  • Products returns will not be accepted unless the incorrect product has been supplied by the seller or the product is damaged or faulty.
  • Please note that we do not reimburse return postage cost.
  • If you wish to cancel the order you will receive a full refund subject to certain terms and conditions.
  • To obtain a full refund you must return items undamaged in the same new condition in which it was dispatched and in its original packaging. We must receive the returned items within 7 days.
  • Insure your package for safe return, failing which loss and/ or damage will be for your account.

Law

  • The conditions will be exclusively governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Witwatersrand High court of South Africa.
  • This website is controlled, operated and administered by the provider from its offices within the Republic of South Africa.
